Properties: Potassium Dihydrogen Phosphate is white or colorless crystal, odorless, easily soluble in water, relative density at 2.338 g/cm3, melting point at 252.6℃, PH value of 1% solution is 4.5.
Usage:
Potassium dihydrogen phosphate is a high effective K and P compound fertilizer. It contains totally 86% fertilizer elements, used as a basic raw material for N, P and K compound fertilizer. Potassium dihydrogen phosphate can be used on fruit, vegetables, cotton and tobacco, tea and economic crops, To improve product quality, and greatly increase the production.
Potassium dihydrogen phosphate could supply the crop’s demand of phosphorus and potassium during growing period. It can postpone the aging process crop’s function leaves and roots, keep the larger photosynthesis leaf area and vigorous physiological functions and synthesize more photosynthsis.
As a nitrogen-free fertilizer, A common case is at early growing season, when phosphorus and potassium are needed at high rates for the establishment of root system. Application of MKP at the productive stages of sugar-rich fruit crops help to increase sugar content and to improve the quality of these.
Potassium dihydrogen phosphate can be applied in combination with other fertilizers to meet crop nutritional needs throughout the growth cycle. Its high purity and water solubility make MKP an ideal fertilizer for fertigation and for foliar application. Additionally, Potassium dihydrogen phosphate is suitable for preparation of fertilizer blends and production of liquid fertilizers. When applied as foliar spray, MKP acts as a suppressor of powdery mildew.
It is recommended to use Potassium dihydrogen phosphate as a source of phosphorus and potassium where nitrogen levels should be kept low. Because of its unique characteristics, MKP can be applied through any irrigation system and on any growth medium. Unlike phosphoric acid, MKP is moderately acidic. Therefore, it is not corrosive to fertilizer pumps or to irrigation equipment.
